Malina Rodriguez

Co-founder and Advisor

Malina Rodriguez is an intersectional environmentalist who recently retired from building sets and producing contemporary dance events in order to focus on environmental stewardship. As co-founder of The Lucky Penny and Artistic Director of Dance Truck, Malina built a network to share resources with theater, dance and visual artists across Atlanta. During a 12 year run as Assistant Technical Director for Theater Emory, Malina collaborated with students on initiatives that diverted scenic waste from the landfill. Malina is a member of the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees (Local 927) and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Technical Theatre and Design from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona.
