We are The Atlanta Green Artist Alliance (AGAA), formally known as The Atlanta Green Theatre Alliance (AGTA). We were founded in 2020 by a group of theatre professionals who recognized that wastefulness is an urgent environmental issue in our industry. We are a non-profit organization whose aim is to rally the Metro Atlanta arts community to collectively transform creative practices to benefit the health of the environment and promote sustainability. AGAA was inspired by the Broadway Green Alliance, who suggests that “progress comes from millions of us doing a bit better each day.”
